SMLXL Playthrough
Unfolding Multivalency: Relying on Rem Koolhaas' Conceptions of Segregation of Hull and Content as well as on his idea on Sequenciality, the project attempts to deliver tools for going into a restructured reading of S,M,L,XL by revealing its hypertextual structure and understanding the bookspace as a diagrammatic space. Two different approaches of re-mapping are used to firstly access the graphic and spatial aspects of the book and secondly to explore its textual connections. Said approaches rely on a python based processing of the book structure and are meant to serve as a stepping stone into a more elaborate interpretation of the so-called architectural novel.
